Due to numerous concerns raised by myself, spouse, and other professionals, we terminated our contract with Pluum Construction on 6/20/24. We requested a final itemized invoice on several occassions, but have been met with excuses. When we asked for a specific date for when a final itemized invoice will be provided, we were told via text that we would not be given a date. We were told that there are additional addendums, but none were ever approved by us when the project was active. Addendums have to be approved by my spouse and I prior to going to the insurance adjustor. If you are considering working with this company, I recommend looking at BBB reviews. I'll update this review as things unfold.

The project turned out to be much more extensive than initially expected requiring two full days of labor to complete. James quickly assessed that the work was going to be significantly more than our first estimate and was honest and upfront about additional costs before doing anything exceeding the estimate without my consent(which has not been the case with other contractors in my past). The work was top tier, very clean and the crew was polite and professional. Hard to find good residential contractors and would absolutely recommend his crew and services to anyone looking.

Doing my do diligence, I read Pluüm Construction reviews on Google, BBB, and Oregon CCB websites. James is very personable and relatable. I decided to give him a shot to do demolish my circa 1960s fireplace in preparation for complete reroof (contracted with a different company, a less than favorable review will be posted after I receive my refund). His teams (a mason, framers and sheet rockers) were fast, professional and respectful. I was impressed enough that after cancelling the roofing contractor, I hired Pluüm to do my roof. They will start on Saturday. If the roof project goes well, I will have no reluctance to hire them to install the hardwood flooring throughout my house.

James and his team installed a new sewer at our house and did a stellar job. They were quick, communicative, and professional. They were the lowest bid and when the job finished under cost, James gave us a refund from the down payment. I was referred to Pluum after they did an incredible job on my sister's kitchen and I highly recommend working with this company.
